My thoughts on Google Buzz
Kinda fail.
First, just by putting a comment on one of Kevin Rose’s post, I got my inbox spammed when more people also commented, had to mute the “Buzz”. If they implement something so that I can’t turn off the inbox integration (notifications via email) and just do something like the Facebook notifications, I guess I wouldn’t hate it so much.
It’s pretty much what FriendFeed does, it is kinda useful but everyone is pretty much on Facebook and Twitter, why have a social feed aggregator?
The one and only thing I hate about Gmail: auto add contacts. It’s so annoying that every time I send an email I have to go to my contacts and delete him because most of the times I’m not emailing people I consider “my contacts”…
I don’t like the idea of tweeting something and having to go to another website to answer people’s comments.
Like the rest of the Google products (except Gmail I guess) it’s going to be, without a doubt, not easy to learn and/or adopt it for the non geek people, just like the Android platform.
Am I wrong?
